Does anyone have experience sending direct mail nowadays to reach out to business owners in the home services sector (HVAC, Plumbing, etc.)?

I would appreciate the feedback as well as tips on what works and what doesn't.

Direct Mail with hand written envelopes has done ok. I'm down in Virginia area targeting Virginia and North Carolina area. Of the 100 letters that I'll send, Ill get 2-3 responses. Its not great, but letters are easy. Cold Calls have been ok, but you have to stay on top of them. Don't expect them to return your calls or answer your voice messages. My personal experience. Other people may have better ones

as ^redacted‌ commented. Next door is a great way to expand and spread information to residents in the area. If you are looking to acquire a business in your neighborhood, Next Door would be a great way to do so and spread the word for any potential customers or investors
