Do you know of some good example / sources for a project plan to go from LOI to closing for a mid-sized acquisition (eg, larger than SBA). Looking for both detailed and high level, ideally road-tested with realistic timing.

If you have one you used and could share that would be great!

I’ve worked on a few mid-sized acquisitions and can give you a general framework. Typically, the process from LOI to closing takes around###-###-#### days, but it depends on deal complexity. Here's a quick breakdown:

Due Diligence###-###-#### days): Financial, legal, and operational review. Management meetings and site visits happen here.

Definitive Agreements & Financing###-###-#### days): Purchase agreement drafting, term negotiation, and securing financing.

Pre-Closing###-###-#### days): Final approvals, customer/vendor transition planning, and scheduling the closing date.

Timing can vary, so feel free to reach out if you'd like more details or specific examples!
