I am trying to improve my public speaking and the way I approach people when doing M&A. I am located in Pennsylvania, USA and I contacted Toastmasters around here but they're either private or closed. I also joined an Improv online class that was $25.00 per class but their internet connection was so bad I just couldn't keep going there. I need to improve my communication skills

Take a look at Dale Carnegie courses. I did the in-person multi-week course, and it was excellent. Lots of opportunities to practice presentations and story-telling, along with other relationship and social skills.

I have been at Toastmasters extensively a decade ago. It is an awesome and supporting environment. I have heard about Dale Carnegie course too.
