Many faith-based communities shy away from traditional PE firms due to concerns over leverage or investments in defense/guns. But here’s the kicker—these communities often run stable, cash-flowing businesses that align well with search fund models.

Sharing a similar faith can help with Jewish religious owners, but what truly matters is speaking the same language, as trust is built on personal connections. Translating ESG into terms they understand and focusing on philanthropy and values is key in the end. But this has been my experience, and I am here to see what others might have to say.

I’m quite involved in Christian business communities and I do think a shared faith with a seller and also investors is powerful.

I’m also launching a Faith based community in ETA so feel free to let me know if that resonates with anyone!
