… It took months to feel safe again.

The AirBnB host violated my privacy: Monday: Opened the door while I was partially dressed Everyday: Came into the space while I was at work Tuesday: Tried to get me to communicate with her off the app Wednesday: I packed up what I could before my arm in the sling couldn't take any more. At 10:23 pm, she was at the door yelling “Yvette, Yvette…” asking me to stay longer Thursday: Admitted she had come into the space everyday while I was working because “it's [her] house”

When you plan for a deal, don't forget to plan for your self-care.

The transition plan for the team was clutch.

But the one for myself had big holes.

During the workday, I was having a successful transition, but after work, . . . it was murder.

If you buy a business out of state, spend time thinking about:

Where will you live for the transition period? What part of your routines do you need? If you have medical issues like me - take extra precautions How can you be comfortable and be the best possible version of yourself?

Don’t underestimate the importance of taking care of yourself.

What unexpected hurdles have you overcome for your business?

What a disaster! Thank you for sharing, definitely one of those things you don't think about in a transition.
