I am helping a friend build an investor presentation. he's a great operator, but needs help telling the story. looking for a template for an investor deck for a private equity roll up / or just a very good example. ideally, it would balance visuals with comprehensive financials (i can do the financial analysis myself but just am looking for inspiration on key quantitative illustrations to show)

As the builder of many consulting decks, I typically don't like forcing a storyline to a template, but here's a general outline that I've found impactful. I would adjust it according to who you're talking to, what you're trying to message, etc. - Problem statement - Complication (ie why is it hard?) - Solution - Why/how does it provide value? (to customers, to investors) - How do you make it work? - Example, including financials (but not too specific, because it's deal dependent) - What are known risks and how will you mitigate? - Are there some boundary conditions? - Why are you guys the ones to do it? - Next steps (for investors, for you) Hope this is helpful!

Hi Harry, we create decks but we don't use templates. If you want something that already exists and you just need to edit, you could get pretty good starting points in creativemarket.com (make sure the template you get is one you can edit yourself, e.g. in PowerPoint, Canva, etc.) If you want something custom-made to tell your story, send me a DM -- we're happy to help!
