Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing debt and equity investors, taking meetings with these potential capital providers, and guiding them through the process to issuing proposals on M&A transactions. Your primary goal will be to convert leads into committed capital providers for our M&A transactions. Key Responsibilities: - Client Engagement: Schedule and conduct meetings with potential capital providers to understand their investment criteria and present relevant opportunities. -Lead Management: Receive and manage warm leads of debt and equity investors from our outreach efforts. -Communication: Maintain regular email communication with leads to provide updates, answer queries, and guide them through the investment process. - Pipeline Advancement: Work diligently to move leads from initial contact through to term sheet issuance, addressing any concerns and facilitating their decision-making process. - Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with capital providers to foster long-term partnerships. - Data Room Management: Ensure that all necessary information is available in the data room and accessible to capital providers. - Collaboration: Work closely with the internal M&A team to align on strategy and ensure seamless communication and handover of information. - Reporting: Track and report on the status of leads, meetings conducted, and progress towards term sheet issuance. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. - Proven experience in investor relations, financial services, business development, or a similar role. - Strong understanding of debt and equity financing for M&A transactions. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple leads and prioritize tasks effectively. - Proficiency in using CRM software (close) and data room platforms (docsend) and project management tools (Asana). - Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
