Acquira Accelerator vs. Acquisition Lab -- Feedback??

Hey Searchers, does anyone have feedback on either of these programs? Similar upfront cost, however it feels like very different models.

Acquira is focused on home services business and wants to invest (~19%) in your business. They also provide a refund after 60 days if you meet the criteria (i.e. complete the program and bring one qualifying deal to the investment committee).

The Acquisition Lab says to be geared towards any type of business (physical, digital, ecomm, etc.). No refund policy. Does not want to invest in your business.

My main focus is on the quality of content and having access to a thriving community (e.g. slack groups).

Has anyone participated in either of these programs? Any feedback or advice for a self-funded searcher?

Thanks, and all the best!
Michael

Folks here obviously lean towards AL. I was a member of Acquira's $3K program a couple of years ago and I was disappointed. Their schtick seemed to be, that they would invest with you and be a resource to help "fire proof" your business. Another member later told me that he discovered that fireproofing/implementing EOS etc. was not something they did without charging you for it. Say What!!!?? Why would I pay them and give them equity when I could just hire consultants on my own? That was never disclosed and deceptively marketed. When I brought it up to Daniel Elizondo with Acquira, he was essentially unable to address it. I also felt that the audience they were going after was the group of folks with no experience or resources and would agree to the un typical equity splits and other agreements they were trying to "offer". which were a GREAT deal for them but not the searcher putting the nuts on the line. In hindsight, I would never have done their program. Later, I did the Protege Program with Deal Makers Wealth Society by Carl Allen and I found that group to be INCREDIBLY valuable. Happy to discuss with anyone.

^redacted‌ I'm a member of the Acquisition Lab and have had a few sales pitches from Acquira along with chatting with a few of their searchers. The slack group for the Acquisition Lab is incredibly strong. 90+% of the questions I've asked the group has gotten a strong response within 24 hours and if it didn't their COO usually jumps in and calls out either a suggestion or someone who could help about it. I really can't say enough good things about it. Though the question is do you want a general network or the directed semi-partnership of Acquira? Also, if you are looking at more international deals (though they do have Americans) Jeremey Harbors group is good too. I've done some deals with folks there from joining it.
