Today's episode is a little different. It's pure education. Today, Steve Ressler is my guest. Steve is an investor in searchers — that is, entrepreneurs who buy companies. And I use the opportunity to ask Steve how to understand working with an investor if I'm somebody who wants to buy a business. Steve is really well positioned to teach this stuff, and I think you'll agree he does so extremely clearly. If you're already knowledgeable about raising money and structuring a deal, this episode is probably a bit basic for you, but many of us looking for a company to buy are doing so for the first time. So I thought it would be great to get a primer on working with investors to do that. I know I learned a lot, and I asked the dumb questions so you don't have to.
