My partner and I have launched a fund dedicated to acquiring turnaround opportunities within the SMB sector. Our focus is on acquiring majority ownership in companies in distressed situations due to financial or operational challenges, but where there are likely prospects for operational improvements.
Understanding the unique challenges of turnaround acquisitions, we recognize they may not align with everyone's investment strategy. Hence, if you happen upon any turnaround deals that don't fit your criteria, we'd greatly appreciate your consideration in passing them along to us. We're more than willing to offer a referral fee for any referred deals that we successfully close.
Our target businesses typically boast revenues ranging from $5-25 million, with no EBITDA limit, and carrying $1-5 million in debt. While industry-agnostic, our geographical focus is primarily east of the Mississippi.
Feel free to reach out with any potential referrals or simply to connect.

Thanks ^redacted

Hi ^redacted‌ Our primary focus is on distressed or underperforming companies, but we're open to considering those facing bankruptcy or imminent bankruptcy as well. I'd be interested in connecting to discuss your experience in the space further. Please let me know when you might be available with a DM or email at redacted class="link ffb toggleprofilecard" data-user_id="17428">Paul Daigle‌ great to connect. We are largely industry agnostic but there are select industries we’ll stay away from (as luck would have it, mostly yours) such as SaaS, Bio / Healthcare, and Food & Bev. I’d also love to connect and discuss your experience. If you’re available, please send me a DM or email at redacted ^redacted‌ I just sent you a message.

Thanks ^redacted‌. ^redacted‌ your investing focus is interesting. We do look at distressed companies in consumer goods and will take note of your interest. In turnarounds, there is a spectrum from bankruptcy and restructuring, to imminent bankruptcy, to distress, to simply companies that performing well under potential and need a turnaround. Are you comfortable across the spectrum?
