Resilient Search Partners, an Australian based traditional search fund, has agreed to acquire Project Wing and completed due diligence.
The business provides specialized advice to farmers to improve the productivity of their grazing pastures. It monetizes its service by manufacturing and selling products that provide unique benefits compared to available alternatives. It owns the relationships with farmers and 80% of revenue comes from repeat sales to the same customers.
The founder is 71 and looking to retire. He likes to keep the business independent and has a good relationship with me and my investors, of which the majority come from an agriculture or rural background.
75% of the equity required has been raised and a term sheet for debt funding has been received.
