Ajax Defense is investing in veterans that want to own a business in the defense industry. Specifically, we want to partner with self-funded veteran searchers, or any veteran that wants to own a business in the defense industry via Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA).

Machine shops, metal fabricators, industrial processing, component manufacturing & assembly, engineering. At least a majority of revenue in defense industry as prime or sub.

Ajax Defense will finance your transaction with our committed equity and debt from our network of financial partners.

Highlights:

• No personal guarantees required and veterans get 30% equity in the business we acquire together.
• Ajax also coordinates, supports and pays for transaction costs (legal, tax, environmental, etc). We will also help with seller negotiations as needed and provide you with financing commitment letters.
• Veteran CEO/Owners get ongoing strategic support and business development from Ajax principals and management post-acquisition.

What we're looking for:

• U.S. Veterans from any military background with a strong motivation to own and lead a small business in the defense industry.
• Solo searchers or partners/teams
• Management experience in defense industry operations and/or MBA from a top school
• You've started building deal flow to generate opportunities for acquisition. You're at or close to submitting and LOI -- but we're happy to talk and build the relationship with you earlier in the process.
• Interest in working with Ajax as the sole investment partner (no traditional search funds).
• Mission-driven, long term perspective to build the defense industrial base for national security
• Acquisition target has $2M - $10M EBITDA and you have a clear, compelling plan for value creation
