While I was searching for 16 months, I couldn't easily find the community I needed. I kept discovering events AFTER they happened. Now that I'm back to building 0-1, I'm still missing events I would have liked to go to. So yesterday I built etameetup.com, a free resource for tracking what's happening and where. There are 41 events coming up right now, including Clef's first one in Philly today. It's full, but there are 7 more this week alone and dozens before the end of the year. It's on autopilot now, so it'll keep adding new ones as they come up. Check it out when you're looking for some IRL time. It will track online events as well if that's more your thing. If you're hosting an event, you can add it directly on the site too. I've got to say it's already giving me a bit of FOMO with so many people hosting great events.
