For those who are in the seat on one or more businesses -- how do you go about updating the company EV for tax and stock reasons? Is it mandatory to run a formal 409A each year? Interested in efficient, inexpensive people who can bang out a value update each year for the portcos. Will gladly take references too.

Vik - we do 409A valuations at FE International, where we have completed over 1,500 transactions and work regularly with PE firms on their annual portco valuations. Happy to chat - redacted
