Any good VOIP solution to replace expensive phone leases

Hello everyone, Just wanted to see if some one has experienced transitioning their current phone leases( and porting phone/landline numbers) to a cheaper VOIP solution after buying a business. I see some attractive options but not sure if they are worth the transition
