Since this is industry is so broad, the general search for financial services in the lower middle market will yield companies in the insurance sector (agencies), lending (hard money lenders), collection agencies etc. There are niche financial services companies as well that provide services to banks - risk management, loan workouts etc. There are also technology companies - platform marketplace types.
