Any recommendations on creating a website to boost buyer profile ?

I recently started my journey as a searcher and I have read several times the importance of creating a personal landing page /website to help in the marketing to seller/brokers. Does anyone have experience with this? Any good websites that serves as a reference? Does this really helps?

As a sell-side advisor, my recommendation is that the website should be meaningful and high quality. I've seen several searchers who simply have a landing page with almost zero information. This almost hurts your credibility relative to having no website at all. I would also make sure you beef up your LinkedIn profile. With all buyers I look for a website and I look at their LinkedIn profile if my seller is at all interested.

One website I really liked was a husband and wife team. Complimentary and impressive professional backgrounds. What I liked most about their website was they super personified it. I think by doing so, they have differentiated themselves from both PE shops and "another inexperienced searcher". I dont feel comfortable sharing without their permission but maybe they will chime in when they read this. BTW she's HBS too :)
