I'm the person you are discussing. I am not a business broker. Never have been. Never will be one. I do not peddle businesses for sale.

I am a hired gun for buyers.

I am NOT among the people pitching get-rich-quick, no-money-down or any of the widely believed nonsense that can hurt business sellers, buyers, businesses and sources of financing.

My company is not a franchisor, but we did experiment with franchising but abandoned the model thanks to the Great Recession.

There are only two people I trained that I recommend: John Martinka (Seattle) and Jeff Smith (Indianapolis).

They, and I, help clients deploy the kinds of strategies and tactics explained in my how-to e-books.

You can learn more about what I do for buyers here: https://partneroncall.com/assess-your-risk/who-needs-a-business-buyer-advocate/

I spoke to one of his franchisees a while back. It's an interesting model if you want to outsource your deal flow generation activity. It seemed fairly low-cost until you found and closed a deal, but was still cheaper than a "full service broker". If you're thinking of trying to do search while keeping your job, could be an interesting way to go.
