Anyone have a good primer for securing SBA 7a loans in California

Maybe I'm just unaware of the differences, but I'd assume it would be similar to securing a 7(a) loan in any other state due to federal SBA regulations. One area where I know there can be differences is collateral, for example in TX I believe your primary residence is safe whereas in CA it is not.

Probably one of the bankers here can set me straight if I'm wrong.

If you are looking for more "101" type information, I'd suggest attending one of Live Oaks weekly sessions. They go through the process beginning to end and have a ton of educational documents they share as well.
