Anyone have experience diligencing a Concrete Construction company?
I'm under LOI with a concrete construction company and would love to hear any lessons learned from searchers that have run due diligence on a similar company type before.

Ask for a project backlog (current contracted work) and pipeline (future leads/expected work). Hopefully this will also help you understand how they generate leads and sales: are they bidding work, what is the win rate, how much is the current owner/leadership involved in sales, etc.

Happy to share. Agree with what John said. Depending on the company, if they buy their concrete through a third party make sure there is a strong relationship with priority that will pass on to you. You are dead in the water if you don't have standing holds on concrete trucks.
