Hi I own a garment factory in the best place in the world for export to the US (Egypt - 0% customs, 0% tarrifs thanks to a peace deal with Israel, salaries significantly cheaper than China / Bangladesh) and I'm looking to buy one or multiple distributors of blank garments that are used by print shops and other stakeholders of the events industry. A big name is https://sanmar.com/, but I'm looking for smaller guys who are purchasing blanks references from wholesalers. My landed cost for a 100% cotton 300gsm hoodie in the US is around $6 and a lot of distributors buy them at $12 from factories in Bangladesh / China so I'm wondering if it wouldn't be a simple way to dramatically increase margins.

We services many blank distributors in the US, particularly around the west coast and those prices you mentioned are a bit of a stretch. Most are buying in the range of $5 to $6 landed for 300 GSM / 100% Cotton and t-shirts (180 GSM) under $2.5 - that $12 price point you mentioned does not match with what any of them are buying on LDP basis (Landed-Duty-Paid)

Given that the de minimis exemption still exists for Egypt, wouldn't shein or Temu be the ideal partner for you since they are actively looking to complement their chinese suppliers
