While prospecting for my value acceleration advisory practice, I met an owner that would like to sell his business (assets). The business sells organizational storage compartment inserts of its own design, which have shown to be especially popular with law enforcement. The business has been a side venture, rather than a committed effort, so sales have been up and down. Even with light unit volume, margin over landed cost has been in the 60% range.
