Just joined Searchfunder because I consistently see private, off market opportunities through my work with founders and CEOs… and guess what… I’m not even in finance. I own and operate Luxury V3, a global discovery and intelligence platform focused on emerging and independent luxury brands. I recently started it because of my public profile growing up in Baltimore City to then being one of the only minorities to rep a Swiss watch brand. Now luxury CEOs come to me for things like resources, partnerships, and strategic introductions, often before opportunities are public or formally capitalized. Check my LinkedIn. I even got Rivian C-Suite involved as partner with in 30 days of signing with the Swiss company. Because I now market across New York, Paris, Geneva, and LA, and as a minority in luxury, I’ve been gaining access to insane conversations and deal flow that doesn’t move through traditional channels. Much of what I see sits at the intersection of luxury, consumer, manufacturing, IP, and celebrity culture. For example, it’s weird, a few years ago in Paris, I built a relationship with a pharmaceutical CEO who just received $60M in non-dilutive French government funding to relaunch an existing respiratory drug patent for cancer patients post-COVID. Through a personal introduction from his CFO, he offered me pre-IPO shares in his holding company in exchange for access to one of my billionaire contacts. It didn’t work out at the time but I literally later watched the valuation 5x and the guy sell to someone else and PERSONALLY cashed out $100M for the 1 drug (not holding company that I would have shares in) he created on behalf of France. It was a bit lesson that I had to learn to move fast and stay connected to funders. I am now 30 years old, In NYC+ Paris, owner of a creative agency, intentionally looking to align with the right funder or search team that wants proprietary access to vetted founders and high end private deals. I’m not a banker. I’m just a connector and operator who sits close to decision makers. At 30, I’m focused on spending the next decade founding these insanely successful founders and brands with the right capital partners and helping funders access opportunities they would not otherwise see.
