I've spent my corporate career as a healthcare executive but have very little experience in non-essential services such as med spa's, cosmetic dermatology, eastern medicine, etc. Does anyone have experience in the med spa space to suggest that it is a promising industry for acquisition investors? I am curious to know how to weigh brand recognition (multi-site/franchise), location (household income) and sensitivity to economic changes. Would love to chat with anyone that's willing to connect. Thanks!

We have provided financing in this space. I would be happy to have a discussion from that perspective. You can reach me here or directly at redacted

Physician and former medspa owner. It is definitely a crowded space, but many medspas do make excellent profit. I think the most important part in owning a medspa is to keep your key client-facing employees/contractors happy and in place. Clients will often follow their favorite injector/provider and leave your practice if they move. This was always a significant loss for us and difficult to mitigate unless you become large enough to not have it impact your business significantly.
