I have a deal in the med spa space that looks promising. Beautiful facilities with fairly new equipment in a great area and a good lease, but its been poorly run. I think there's lots of potential here, but the numbers aren't great. The SDE doesn't justify the valuation the seller is looking for, but price seems negotiable and the equipment likely has a good deal of value. A bit of a turnaround opportunity, but I think the risk could be worth it. I'm hoping to chat with people in the med spa space to better understand industry benchmarks and best practices.

Market is in decline with a lot shifting focus back to derm and surgery. Secondhand market for machines is poor as many devices don't deliver on the hype. Ozempic has need a significant change as has the social media trend against fillers by celebrities. There is a move to regeneration but products are sketchy right now.
