Are there any failed ETA's willing to share their experience?

I've been consuming a fair bit of ETA related content via podcasts, books, articles, etc. -- all of which seem to highlight successful entrepreneurs. I'm curious to hear from folks that weren't as successful, and any insight as to why / what they would do differently.
