Hi everyone, I’m Owais Aslam, founder of Aslam Capital. Over the past year, I’ve been building at the intersection of ETA, private equity-style underwriting, and operator-led acquisition strategy. A big part of that work has been pressure-testing deals in real settings, not just talking about them in theory. One example was a case study where I sourced and developed a live-angle operating opportunity tied to a USPS contract, which helped show how I think about origination, downside protection, and value creation through real business fundamentals rather than financial engineering alone. That work opened the door to broader conversations around acquisition strategy, capital formation, and execution. Since then, I’ve had the chance to share my thinking in front of strong audiences across ETA and emerging manager circles, including teaching ETA-related sessions and being part of conversations with investors, fund infrastructure providers, and institutional platforms. Those discussions have helped sharpen how I’m building Aslam Capital: disciplined on structure, selective on targets, and focused on businesses where practical operating execution can create durable value. At Aslam Capital, the focus is on lower middle market control investments in essential services and other resilient businesses where seller alignment, disciplined leverage, and operational improvement matter more than a flashy narrative. I’m looking to connect with family offices, experienced search and ETA investors, lenders, independent sponsors, and operators who are active in this part of the market and interested in thoughtful conversations around acquisitions, structuring, and long-term value creation. Happy to connect. Owais Aslam Aslam Capital ascapital.site
