I’m currently evaluating the assisted living / memory care market in Arizona (primarily Phoenix / Scottsdale) as a potential acquisition and would really value perspective from anyone who has actually owned and operated in the state. I’m early in diligence but serious about the space and thinking long-term hold rather than flip. Would appreciate connecting with anyone willing to share insight

I've worked with several clients who have purchased and operated Assisted Living / Memory Care Facilities. The biggest issue that I've seen is staff turnover. I would take a close look at the turnover numbers during due diligence.

Hi, ^redacted‌, I have a number of clients who are assisted living facility owners and operators, and I have been actively involved in this space for about a decade in one capacity or another. I have earned a residential assisted living specialist certification myself, and have exhibited at an assisted living conference for the past two years.
