My business partner Akram (Ak) Sabbagh and I are attending the Search Fund Conference at Harvard Business School on 2nd December. We are also in Boston for two days following and then San Francisco for three days. Anyone interested in catching up for a coffee to discuss the Australian Search Fund community?

If you are, please contact us here on Searchfunder or redacted or redacted background: Search Funds – as a concept, are very new to Australia and there are some unique challenges of searching in Australia predominantly around lack of awareness of, and local support for, searching, and a lack of professional intermediaries. It’s definitely not all challenges though, their significant opportunities for searching in Australia, in particular, there is an extraordinary number of significant baby-boomer owned businesses that will transition to new ownership, or a new generation, in the next ten years.
