Balancing Health Insurance with ETA

Hey Community,

I'm currently solo-searching for my first acquisition and I don't have a plan for health insurance once I leave myredactedMy wife is a stay-at-home mom so I'm looking for suggestions on how I can cover insurance needs while running a business. My wife and I talk about having another baby as well so I would love to hear suggestions on insurance that covers pregnancy and delivery.

I'm not an expert in this area but I believe you can stay on your current employer's plan for up to 12 or 18 months through COBRA, although I've heard it's very expensive. Outside of COBRA I know various states offer health plans but I'm sure coverage/price varies widely. If you are thinking about having a child soon, and particuarly while searching, I recommend finding an expert on the topic - too much at stake not too. Good luck

Typically best solution with quality coverage and easy of shopping is through the marketplace: redacted. You can compare this against your employer's COBRA plan which may or may not be cost advantaged.
