I'm ramping up to start my search and trying to quickly identify the best CRM and outbound mail management programs. I've done some informal polling among searchers and have yet to get emphatic endorsements for any of them. Anyone out there done the legwork and can share insights?

Thanks!

Matt

Drip.co is also worth a look. It's an email service provider with some interesting automation features. You can set up workflows that automatically fire email broadcasts to users based on their behavior (i.e. email opens, tags added, etc.) The subscriber management is pretty good but not on par with that of a sales CRM like Zoho. However, it's pretty flexible so you can use tags and custom fields to identify people as prospects/opportunities/etc. if you want. Accounts under 100 contacts are free and it's pretty nominal above that (~$49/month for under 2,500 contacts).

I like using the Streak chrome extension (Y Combinator company) because it's integrated directly into my email, which is super nice. It also has an email tracking feature so I can see when emails are read, what device, and what location. That type of metadata is super powerful.
