Best Practices for Daily/Weekly Reports for Construction Companies?
I am looking to improve the visibility and foresight for a ~$25MM construction company. Today, we do the below: - Daily Job Report: 1 per crew, per job - Weekly Cash report - Weekly AR/AP aging review - Monthly Financial statements - Monthly WIP / Job-costing I am specifically trying to find or design a) a daily activity report to help drill down into morale/behavior; b) a daily or weekly report to help gauge job-level profitability -- often well in advance of when we might be done with a job; c) Something to help tighten cost controls, especially on unnecessary overtime Would gladly take any thoughts. If you might be interested in creating/joining a mastermind on this topic, please feel free to drop me a DM. I might be game to organize something like that.
