Dear all, do you have any best practices to share when approaching german banks for financing? - when to approach - what to approach them with - how to manage them during due diligence? Thinking of us right now is to - share them a 3-5 pager teaser (anonymous) containing financials, company, transaction structure (before LOI), - then once interested have a first conversation (mention timeline & get their questions), - post LOI and initial red flag DD phase -> send them a comprehensive package. What are your thoughts? best Simon

I have recently had an intro call with an advisor from Sparkasse (reg. KFW Kredit). Just to outline broadly my CV and search criteria. They were very open to it

Hi Simon, do you refer also to subsidized KFW and Bürgschaftsbanken loans? Here I could share some insights and experience I have made so far.
