Best resource for legal structure with a partnership

Hi all,

I'm sure this has been brought up in posts here but I can't find anything conclusive in my research. Any thoughts on the best place to better understand the optimal legal structure when searching with a partner? We plan to purchase and operate a business together and want to know what we don't currently know about optimal legal structure. Thanks in advance for any help or direction!

Wade -- I am happy to discuss the exciting legal nitty gritty associated with entity structure. That said, as advised by others - (i) an LLC is simplest (particularly given that while searching, there is often little to structure) and (ii) ultimate choice depends on intent and goals of the venture. Hi Wade, always best to talk to a structuring expert in your region. However, my general rule in Australia is to keep it simple unless there are compelling and clear legal and/or tax benefits.
