Nice to meet everyone! I'm a former management consultant and current part-owner at a 3rd generation family business in NJ.

I'm attending NYU Stern starting this fall. After sharing my background and passions, a classmate recommended I check out Search Funds and this website. Really exciting stuff!

As a newbie and soon to be MBA with experience running a small business, where do you all recommend I get started in terms of learning about SFs? Candidly, my knowledge of financial aspects of deals and/or fundraising needs improvement. Any articles or must read resources would be appreciated!

Thank you!

^redacted‌ Welcome!

You're not that far from me (based in Weehawken). Love seeing the tri-state searchers on here.

You should definitely get involved with the NYC Search Coalition: https://www.searchfundcoalition.com

^redacted‌ has done a great job putting together community events, even during lockdown. It's a must join option.
