Biz buy sell reliable

I have read that biz buy sell website and others like it are the fish down the stream (Have had trouble selling). In other words private brokers have tried to sell it and were unable to so then they go to public. Obviously this is not the case for every business for sale. From the context is seem that it was the majority of the business posted.

Thoughts on those who have experienced first hand the public websites? Any feedback?

Trying to avoid regret. Should I be deal searching focused on other sources rather than public sites?

I would say there are definitely deals that can be found on Biz buy sell, but understand that it is a public market place That means that there are going to be tons of competition. That's why a broker would list it there because they want it to be seen by tons of people. If you are seeking a good business, then you need to find off-market deals without that much competition. If you need a strategy for that, then shoot me a message and we can discuss things further. I also would say check out this book if you are looking to grow a business as well

I've had first hand experience with biz buy sell and have found some direct deals from sellers on the platform. The sellers were quick to respond to any questions and were quite proactive in asking their side of questions as well. All in all, it was very interactive and faster than going through a broker. They may not have prepared those CIM's that are full of projections and highlight only bright side of the business (as is their objective), but the numbers that you see and perspectives you get are more genuine as they are not polished and refined answers that may be politically correct but may still leave more questions in your mind.
