As the title savs I'm brand new to being a searcher and reall hoping to connect with folks willing to guide me along the way. At the risk of shooting myself in the foot, I don't have an MBA or any college degree and I feel as if I'm not being taken as seriously as someone who does. Im focused on being in the construction industry because I have so much experience in that field and I feel like I could really excel in acquiring a business. Feel free to reach out. Thank you.

Welcome! You'll love the community here. It's funny, I have an MBA and have noticed a bit more 'ears perking up', but it's completely unfounded, in my opinion. My MBA courses did very little to get me to this point. Yes there was some personal/educational development, but my internships, projects, and entrepreneurial endeavors built more of my business acumen than the MBA. Funny enough, I've met so many "blue-collar" entrepreneurs who can run circles around me when it comes to running a construction company, but they still think I must "know something they don't"!

Where are you located? Feel free to message, I'd love to chat and share what I've learned so far.
