Has anyone come across a funding solution that could offer $1M or so to bridge a much larger financing for a business acquisition? If so, what was the solution called and if you’ve had a lender who could do it, please share any recommendations.

Business to be purchased at $10.75M, but need $1M or so to bridge the $10.75M. Business does ~$12M in revenue and ~$3M in EBITDA.

Typically called a mezzanine loan. Terms will involve high interest and potentially warrants or other equity rights in exchange for taking the second position. Much better to have your equity investors make the loan or have seller financing. Maybe try Rand Capital though. Happy to help with term sheets etc.
