Has anyone had experience acquiring a business using online business-focused brokers?

We've come across a couple such as FE International, Website Closers, QuietLight and Torro Group during our search but would love to hear additional recommendations.

Appreciate any help.

I see a lot of new ones popping up recently which pretend they are brokers but they are secretly acting as buyer brokers in order to get a commission. An example of that is ecashflowacquisitions.com so be careful with companies like that and go straight to the source (they are just taking listings they find in other places are pretending that it is their listing). The biggest ones are definitely quiet light and fe international as far as quality is concerned. There is also EmpireFlippers (although I'd say lower quality) and for a marketplace, you can check out acquire.com. I'd recommend doing private deal flow though if you know what you want.

Thanks Luke for tagging me in. Have worked with Website Closers and QuietLight. FE International is not searcher-friendly (they claim they won't show offers to sellers without proof of funds) but does occasionally have good businesses. Empire Flippers has the same hurdle (and tends to have smaller deals as well). There are a few others as well, like Website Properties and Ecommerce Brokers.

For a lot of these brokers, they tend to do smaller transactions without bank financing and so look for speedy LOI-to-close timelines which might not be doable for searchers.

What kinds of companies are you looking to buy?
