Hi,
I am curious if anyone has experience building a network of business brokers and would be willing to share their experience? I also would be interested to hear how you qualified certain brokers over others?
Regards,
Doug

There are some brokers who are more active than others. The best way to develop your list is time and effort. Some brokers will add you to their lists when they have listings. You can make an effort to call and talk with them. Some will be responsive, others will not be. There is an element of timing (ie how busy they are) and what else they have going on. There are brokers who are less active who may still have a deal. Ideally you know what type of business you are interested in and find brokers who deal in that type of business. There are brokers and brokerages that list many types of business and will have less insights into a specific industry that what would be preferred.

Please see my 2-Minute Video: What the Savviest Searchers Do to Find and Buy the Right Businesses the Right Way. https://youtu.be/bK6hH0wYqbc (Be sure to read the comments, below the video.)
It shows what the savviest searchers do to become credible with brokers, sellers, etc. Brokers are not tolerant of searchers who can't upfront "sell" their capabilities to brokers. The best brokers don't have to###-###-#### because there is a never-ending stream (actually flooding right now) of people purporting to be a business buyer.
