Building an honest deal-analysis tool for buyers — and looking to learn from people mid-search
Hi all — Alex here, based in Las Vegas. I'm the founder of Verity Intelligence, a deal-analysis tool built for buyers, and I'd rather introduce myself honestly than pitch.
Quick on my background: I've spent my career in customer research and behavioral science (Zappos, Intuit, State Farm), and I got pulled into this world watching how much first-time buyers have to trust on faith when a CIM lands — seller-stated numbers, add-backs nobody's checked, an SBA process that changed again in March.
Verity's one idea: every figure traces to the page it came from, unsupported claims get flagged instead of filled in, and it won't manufacture a recommendation — it tells you what's verified, what's merely claimed, and what nobody's shown you yet. It deliberately won't grade a deal on facts it doesn't have; it'll say "not enough here" and list what to ask for. That refusal is the point.
I'm not selling anything here. I'm looking to learn from people actively in a search — what actually trips you up reading a CIM, where the SBA math gets murky, what you wish a tool would just tell you straight. If that's you and you'd be up for a conversation (or a look at what I've built), reply or DM me. Happy to be useful in return.
