Role Overview: We’re hiring a Business Development Intern to support sourcing and research for client mandates. You’ll work directly with the founders to build acquisition target lists, analyze industries, and help refine client buy boxes. This role is hands-on and entrepreneurial — your work directly ties to revenue, and you’ll be compensated for the deals and deliverables you help generate. Responsibilities: Source businesses that fit specific client buy boxes (e.g., industry, location, revenue size). Compile and organize clean company lists using multiple online sources. Research key business attributes (reviews, age, ownership info, competitors). Support client deliverables with market statistics (fragmentation, TAM, demographics). Maintain internal pipeline tracking and ensure sourced opportunities are deal-ready. Prepare short reports and breakdowns for investor clients. What We’re Looking For Strong interest in finance, entrepreneurship, or private equity. Research-oriented, organized, and detail-focused. Comfortable using spreadsheets and online databases. Clear communication skills. Extra points if you’ve worked with business data, scraping tools, or financial models — but not required. Compensation & Upside Commission-based: you earn directly from the opportunities you source that close into deals or client deliverables. Clear revenue share per converted lead, with no cap.
