We are a UK-based brokerage, and we often find it challenging to source meaningful comparative information for valuing unaudited businesses with turnovers below £10 million.

Would members see value in creating a publicly accessible database (similar to Rightmove for houses)? We envision that data could be contributed by search funders, brokers, and accountants in exchange for access to the platform. The database would include key details such as industry, size (e.g., turnover, employee numbers), and deal multiples.

Would search funders be interested in such a resource and willing to contribute data to it?

Additionally, are you aware of any similar databases that already exist?
