Buying an Online Business?

I was wondering if anyone had some experience buying an online business? I am just dabbling as a self funded searcher and just recently come across websites like Empire Flippers and Website Closers which have online business listed for sale. I am not really interested in Amazon FBA model but I am open to it if I knew someone who succeeded in buying one. I am in a season of still raising young kids so I like the idea of buying some online business already in motion and that I can do most of my work on my computer. Any thoughts out there? I am sure there are many pitfalls I am unaware of haha.
