Caprae Capital Partners - Buyside Intern (10 hrs/week - Paid Program)
Caprae Capital Partners is a next-generation private equity and venture platform built by operators, not career financiers. Led by founder Kevin Hong, a serial tech entrepreneur who has scaled companies to $31M ARR and $7M in revenue, Caprae was formed alongside fellow entrepreneurs who have achieved eight-figure and nine-figure exits (including acquisitions by Twitter and Square). The broader partner network includes a former NASA software engineer and a former Chief of Staff at Google, a team engineered for innovation and disruption.
Since launching in 2025, Caprae has already closed over $50M in transaction value, with $80M+ across its ecosystem, and an additional $60M scheduled to close by Q1###-###-#### The company has been growing 20%+ MoM for 12 months, and this trend is expected to continue for the next several months.
Caprae is rethinking how entrepreneurship, capital, and talent connect. We operate at the intersection of private equity, venture operations, and founder enablement, and we move aggressively. This is not a traditional finance firm.
We strongly prefer to hire our FT team from our internship program. In 2025 we have converted 3 interns to FT roles. In 2026 we expect to onboard significantly more FT from our internship program
Overview
The Caprae Buyside Internship is a high-intensity training ground for future dealmakers. Instead of passive research or slow-paced financial modeling, interns here learn M&A fundamentals the way practitioners actually do:
Liive conversations, real negotiation psychology, and rapid exposure to deal structuring.
Your foundation comes from outbound calls - learning how to communicate with founders, read motivation, overcome objections, and extract deal-relevant information.
As early as 4 weeks, you can transition into supporting real deals, understanding valuation logic, structure mechanics, and the sequence of an ETA transaction.
This is the only internship where students heavily focus on the human side of M&A first, because that’s where deals are won.
