Hi Searchfunder Community,

I am a self-funded searcher that is in the process of finalizing my investment thesis prior to launching my search. I am planning to launch my search in California (Northern or Southern) and would really appreciate connecting with any and all searchers and/or operators that have launched a search in California.

In short, I would love to connect and share ideas. I would also love to learn more about the hardships and learnings you experienced as a California based searcher.

Thank you in advance.

-John

Hey, John. You already know my story…sold my first eta company in northern California to move to Texas and buy business #2. I prefer TX for family and business…and prefer CA for everything else! Best of luck! Let me know if I can help!

Hi John. I'm in San Jose/Saratoga/Palo Alto. I run the best high end addiciton treatment center in Silicon Valley (Newsweek thinks we're #3 or 4 in CA year over year) . We are focused on serving big tech employees and their loved ones. However expanding this year to service Veterans and First Responders. I am in addiction treatment field since###-###-#### Came to Bay Area in in 2017 to manage and refurbish for a sale a faltering business and, well, here I am. Became owner by first becoming a partner and then buying out the founder. I am here as I am interested in the search funds / SBA aquisitions, but it does not really make sense to expand by buying actual practices to me. (I can expand cheaper). Anyhow I would not recommend jumping into a Mental Health / Addiciton as a business for a searcher coming from somewhere else. But open to answer questions
