Most acquisition risk isn't financial. It's structural. The business that looked clean in diligence starts showing its real shape within 90 days of close. Clients tied to the seller. A team waiting to see who's actually in charge. An operator who looked ready but isn't leading. And a new owner who bought a business and is now running one. We're Entrepreneurial Freedom, and I'm a 17-year veteran with three exits of my own. I'm the founder who built it, the one who had to let go, and the one who learned what actually transfers value and what doesn't. That experience shapes everything we do. We work on both sides of the close, *and that distinction matters.* Before close: We work with sellers to remove founder dependency before the business goes to market. Cleaner diligence, stronger multiples, and seller financing that doesn't become a liability when the business stumbles post-transition. After close: We work with acquiring operators to build the structural independence that keeps them from becoming the new founder dependency. The goal is the same on both sides: a business that functions without any single person at the center. Our team includes a dedicated recruiter and a former GM. When the operator gap surfaces (and it always does) we don't just diagnose it, we solve it. If you're preparing a professional services firm for sale or navigating the first 12 months post-close, that's exactly where we work. Happy to connect.

@redacted‌ great topic! Here goes...Elliot here — founder of Newpark Ventures. I’ve closed 7 lower middle market deals mostly in the range of $2mm to $25mm and am now spending more of my time advising searchers as a co-sponsor, board member, and execution partner. I tend to work from investment thesis through execution — helping define AND refine the deal, get it structured and closed, and then making sure the first 12 months actually track to the model. Whether you are just getting started, under LOI, in diligence or recently closed (or struggling to get it over the line and want another perspective, happy to connect!! DM me here or connect with me on LinkedIn###-###-#### thanks for @redacted‌ @redacted‌ @redacted‌ @redacted‌ @redacted‌ @redacted‌ @redacted‌ @redacted‌ and others who jumped in, lets help our searchers BUY, BUILD & LEAD great companies....!!!
