Can anyone speak to buying union v a non-union shop in commercial roofing?

I am under LOI, and I am seeking a better idea of what kinds of customers I can go after with a union shop. Most of the competitors in the area are also union shops as well. 

I would love to get someone with first hand experience the cost/benefit for an operation like this.
