I do not think CEO's spend enough time thinking and planning. I am looking to understand what good looks like for "CEO Time". How much time do you think a CEO should spend thinking, planning, strategizing post close? Is it one hour a week, is it daily?

Having a post-close roadmap will be foundational to how you spend your first 3-6 months. The key is to be deliberate about it, ensuring you are guiding the company to the right direction and not just being consumed by its daily operations.

I think have a day a week that you block is ideal. I’m not there yet because I also have a W2 but a day a week with no operational meetings would be my goal.
