We've been testing out ChatGPT to speed up our financial modeling. For extracting data from CIMs it is amazing.

I now trying figure out best practices for using ChatGPT to create to pro forma statements. On thought is working out how import the historical data into a general 3 statement model.

Anyone try this before?

‌^redacted‌ that isn't our experience at all - with the right configuration (prompt design, data preparation and/or fine tuning) LLMs can do an amazing job of combining data in queries on an underlying dataset. If you are running into challenges, most likely it is because you are asking the machine to create insight without providing it context, labels or examples. Treat it like you would a fresh university graduate, give it the right instruction and you should get better results

Thanks for the tag, Luke. I helped start, with Ayan, a YC-backed startup that automates parts of the QofE and legal processes (like the ones in your post) so you can save weeks of time and thousands of dollars. I think it would make sense for us to chat or anyone looking to use automation in their search, for that matter.
